Do any of you go to college, work and have a kid?

How do you manage? Because I want to go to college but have a full time work and a family too. I’m worried as to how am I going to dedicate time for my family.

There was this one women I knew in college. She was in her 40s or 50s. She was a full time student. She worked about 12 hours a day at her job. She has kids and grandkids. She only got about two hours of sleep each night, but she made it through. I don't have any advice because I am not in that situation, but hopefully her story is a little encouraging.

absolutely! i have a two year old and I'm due with my second in June. I'm working full time and taking 3 classes a semester towards my AA plus nursing prereqs. after completing those I'll be applying for nursing programs!

I do and I know a few others who do it as well. It can be tough and many nights will be spent up later than you want to be bc you sacrifice homework time to see your kids and then work on it after they go to sleep. But it ends up being worth it. I don’t think you’ll ever regret getting your degree. You’ll figure it out one day at a time and one class at a time.

one of my professors went to school full time while obtaining a job and going through a bad divorce. she was a single mother of 2 kids and earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees while working and raising her kids alone. you can do it and I wish you the best of luck!
