After being secretly engaged for a year and me refusing to marry him until he made it happen he did. He went to get my great grandmas ring from my gram, talked to my dad and bam we're officially engaged. Im so happy. still a court house wedding in January(insuramce purposes) but now we can have a "real one" and do vows and i can get walked down the isle! Naturally when we told his family christmas morning his sister was a total bitch about it and tried to shit talk us soley because her bf hasnt proposed yet. I wanna call her out on it but its not worth it. Im not gonna let her rain on my parade. I just had to vent about her being a jerk for a hot second.
