Hi can anyone tell me if it’s normal? I’m from the UK if it makes any difference and I have Nexplanon in.

I got my implant inserted 2nd May 2017 and I haven’t had any problems so far instead more worries. When I first started the birth control I got normal period, little bit heavy but not out of control. Fast forward to August I had a period for two whole solid weeks, heavy but like I said before not majorly heavy. But from August it’s been on and off, I bleed and sometime I don’t.

Well for the last I would say 2/3 months I’ve not bled at all, but it’s just been like brown inside my underwear or on the pad. I’m wearing a pad every day just in case I do start to bleed but nothing. Sometimes it’s a lot of brown stuff and sometimes it’s only when I wipe.

Should I be concerned? Or is this normal?

Shall I go back to my health practitioner, the lady who inserted the implant.
