Pregnant?

I have the rod in my arm and everything was normal but i am now 21 days late and haven't had my period. should I be concerned and get a pregnancy test?

Answer

If tbis is your first month of having it in, be concerned. If not, don't worry. My cycle did all sorts of crazy shit for the first 8 months of having it, but then they were extraordinarily regular for the four years following, even when I had it replaced. According to all of the literature, the only pregnancies that occured during trials for Implanon happened when conception occured during the first week after insertion, when the hormones hadn't fully taken effect.
