I worked with a girl who decided to tell me that if you can’t afford to put your children through college or university you don’t deserve to have children... I almost punched her. Her parents put her through policing school yet she still worked at a hotel being a few years older than me at the time.

My parents couldn’t have afforded to put me through school. My SO can afford to put our kids through school but shouldn’t be expected to. Of course he would but even being in the position to do so I would never tell someone they don’t deserve to have children. As long as your kids are happy, healthy and fed you’re doing okay in my books.
