please help us out ??

We got a positive then my S/O had her period for 5 and just a little bit on the morning of the 6th day was more like discharge tho instead of 7 then took this test 3 days after (on the 22nd December) her period and it looks positive but then on the 23rd we took another test to just make sure and we got a negative and we have run out of test until we receive our next batch in the beginning of January... plz help what does this mean its driving us mad as she has PCOS and hasnt had a positive test in 13 yrs since her first/only son was born and was told it would be really difficult for her to conceive she was try with her ex for 12 and half years now in a relationship with me and its been 5months ish been TTC for the last 2 or so months we were best friends for just over a year before we got together so can you please help us out as we are unsure if we are expecting or not ???
