Recently I had itching around my vagina and irritation. I started birth control and this is my second month on it. I read that some birth controls can cause a yeast infection. So I took action and kept my vagina clean and fresh. It has passed now being a week. I saw my boyfriend today and finally excited to have sex. And we did I was turned on and wet everything was functioning properly. However it wasn’t until actual penetration that I felt a burning pain. It hurt like I was being ripped open for the first time. This normally doesn’t happen during sex with my boyfriend. I was well lubricated he’s a pretty big guy as well. Could it be that my birth control is causing pain during sex? Should I switch my birth control or wait this out? Pls help
