feeding from one side at a time?

my baby is 7 weeks and I'm exclusively bf'ing, but often times she'll only want to eat from one side at a time.  her growth is great and i don't have any issues with supply or engorgement.   just wondering if this is ok. first time mom here.

There is nothing wrong with this. Nurse from side and then switch the next feeding.
Be sure you remember which side you're supposed to nurse with next. I wore a nursing band on my wrist to know where he's supposed to nurse next.
Your supply will regulate to this.

I generally only feed from one side at a time for my two month old. The only time I do both is in the morning I pump one side while he feeds on the other. He only feeds for 10 minutes usually so I want him to get the hindmilk as well so it isn't beneficial to switch sides at 5 minutes. As long as you switch to the other side at the next feeding you are fine.

Just feed from the other side the next time. If it works for you then it’s fine. I was really strict about keeping track of which boob had been last used but now at nine months in I just go with whichever feels fuller. I’m not too precise
