What breast pump are you going with?

My research tells me Spectra is the best (which a friend gave me, unused) but I’d like to order an additional one through insurance. Preferably one that can use batteries if I need to pump on the go. Which did you choose and why? Or for non first time moms, what worked for you in the past??

I have both a spectra and a medela.  I loooove my spectra.  It was just more comfortable to use and was more successful in getting the milk out in a shorter amount of time.  I was an exclusive pumper, so I used it a lot.  I am probably going to order another one for this baby in case the motor burns out.

Insurance provided an ameda pump with my first. HORRIBLE. I wish so badly that I just sucked it up and bought a pump. Went ahead and bought the pump I wanted this time around. Spectra S1. Awesome reviews so I hope it’s more comfortable and quiet than my ameda. And it has a rechargeable battery

Got the Medela last year w my daughter. It was eh. All the local moms where I live rave about the Spectra so I’m going w that this time around.

I had a Medella In Style Advanced with my first. It worked great, but I feel it was very over priced for how loud it was and how quickly my pump parts wore out. I used an Ameda pump in the children's hospital she was at, and that was more comfortable than my medella, but I wasn't able to get as much milk. I'm looking at getting a Spectra or a Freemie Freedom for this baby. I really like the Freemie pumping cups and the spectra pump, so I may just end up getting a Spectra with the conversion kit for the Freemie Cups.
