condoms??

Question

Is there anybody here that uses condoms as their primary method of birth control? How effective are they?
I am on an antibiotic right now so my pill doesn’t work and I’m a little worried to be using just condoms. I’ve only ever used them as extra protection along with my pill

im not on any other birth control at the moment bc of how hormones affect me. i havent gotten pregnant yet. with condoms its important to do quick checks if things are getting very hot and heavy for any breaks or slipping. otherwise they do a pretty good job

I got off birth control cuz the side affects, after like 3 months of dating husband and we always used condoms until TTC never ever had issues. Just make Sure he buys the right size. Sometimes they slip off in us cuz i think the condoms r too big for them lol.

With perfect use condoms have a 98% success rate. That means storing them correctly, using the right size, not using expired condoms, etc. I have never gotten pregnant while using condoms but they have been known to break or slip off. Rarely but it does happen and has happened to me. You should be fine though

my husband and i have used condoms along with the pull-out method (just incase 😉) for two years. no complaints or kiddos here! definitely prefer it over other birth control methods, but that’s just me. good luck! 🖤
