is it dumb?

First wanna say this is just for fun I'm not questioning my life choices. I am marrying my fiancé at 18. We have been together for 4 years he is the love of my life and my first everything. What are people's opinions on marrying him young and with him being my first and marrying him. I know alot of people say you should never marry your first love. So im curious on what people have to say and if they think it is dumb.

I don't understand why people say marriage is hard... it's only hard when it's with the wrong person!

I’m 23.  I married my best friend last June, and I couldn’t be happier.  We’ve been together for over 6 years now, and we’ve lived together for at least 4 of those years.  I would have happily married him at 19 and I don’t think our relationship would be any different today. 
If there is any doubt at all in your mind about being married, then wait, have a long engagement and just enjoy being together. Otherwise go for it!

I married my first love. I was 21 when we got married. I really do believe that when you know, you know. I don’t personally think I would have been ready for marriage at 18. Everyone is different though. Best of luck

I did the same thing, my husband told me since 6th grade that we’d get married. We got married at 18, & we’re still together. But when you get married at 18 you’re not fully matured/grown.. you can grow together or grow apart, it’s a choice y’all have to make. I’ve learned yes love is a feeling but it’s also a choice, there’s possibly going to be a time where you don’t “feel” the same, but if you choose to stick through and work it out, it’ll be worth it in the end. My husband and I were crazy.. we’ve been near divorce a few times the past 5 years.. this year being the best of them all, it was worth it for us.

I married my high school love at 19. We have been married for almost 17 years now and are very happy together. We are expecting baby #6 in June. Our love just grows stronger for each other. If you know he is the one and he knows you are the one then do it.

I wish you all the luck! I'm happy I didn't get married young. at 18 I totally would have married my high school BF. but by the age of 24 we had just changed so much in our beliefs and values and they had changed from each others and we broke up after almost 6 years.

I got married at 19, we've been married for 3 years been together for 5. Getting married young is the best, you get to grow together. All the hard times of being young you have a partner to get through it all. I wouldn't change getting married young for anything, we are so thankful and happy!

I married my husband at 19 and he was 20 and we will have been married for two years this coming June. BUT. That’s not to say it’s been easy! Being married that young has been extremely difficult and hard on us.

Being married at ANY age is EXTREMELY difficult always. Especially the first 1-2 years. But it’s worth it if you’re with the right person.
