hungry, restless, poopy. 7 weeks old

My 7 week old only gave me about an hour between feedings yesterday.. all day and all evening into the wee hours of this morning. Sometimes it was less than an hour. And I didn't change a single just pee diaper. He pooped SO much. And then he literally would not fall asleep until like 5am and it only lasted a half hour when he did, and then FINALLY I laid him next to me attached to the boob and he slept for a few hours. I'm guessing this was all due to a growth spurt?
