Is there a parenting double standard?

Is it just me or has anybody else ever noticed a parenting double standard?

For example it’s just expected that I will watch my child at all times, even if my husband is home I watch her and ask if he minds watching her before I go somewhere..he doesn’t ask if o will watch her, just leaves and assumes I will.

Another example is if somebody has a messy house people tend to think “the wife needs to keep up the house better”...but nobody thinks twice about blaming the father for not helping around the house.

So I wanted to see what you guys think. Is there a double standard where women are expected to deal with all the child care & cleaning, but men are then praised for doing the exact same thing?
