Which brand/type of condoms should I get?

So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost four years in March and we had decided to wait until we were both ready and of legal age to start having sex. (Im 18 now and he just turned 20) Up until then we had messed around a bit of course but we never actually did it.

Recently I was having problems with my period being very irregular so I decided to get on bc to 1.have regular periods and 2. To get into the routine for when we do decide to start having sex.

Anyways we are were thinking that maybe sometime soon we going to finally do it. I believe we are both ready to handle (MOST) of the responsibilities and consequences of having sex. However we are definitely not in the best position to be having kids anytime soon lol so I definitely want more then one form of contraception!

So my question is what brand of condoms do you feel are best and which brand or kind should I avoid?

I know that everyone is different but I’d like some guidance and opinions just to be safe.
