Late period, negative tests

My husband and I have been TTC for three months now, with now luck. My period is three days late now, and I’ve taken three FRER tests, all negative. Did you have any issues with your pregnancy showing up on tests or should I just give it up? I don’t want to keep wasting tests if I don’t need to.
