Any programmers/tech folks out there? What's the best office layout/workspace for you?

Working on a cryptocurrency exchange start-up and looking for our first proper office space. If you're in the tech field, particularly if you're a programmer, what's the best workspace for you from a productivity standpoint. What would make you want to work with us?

Answer

I hate the lack of privacy in completely open offices. Ever been the only female on a team and need to get certain items out of your bag to walk to the bathroom with? Super awkward for no reason. At a minimum I'd want a half cube with a little bit of personal space and the ability to tune people out when needed.
