Labor??

So I went to the doctor yesterday and he checked me I was only a half a cm dilated and 50% effaced. My SO and I had sex last night since then I’ve been having labor pains. I can’t tell if it’s real labor. While I can tolerate this pain it’s still very much uncomfortable. I can’t sleep because of them I’m in the tub now with warm water which hasn’t helped much like I assumed it would. This has been going on most of the night hints me not being able to sleep 😞 because of it. My question is because I was checked today and didn’t have much progress from my last apt could I still be in preterm labor? The last two cramps were 2-3 min apart lasting about 45 sec a piece. I’m currently 37 +2 today this is my second child.
