visitors after birth

so today after my doctor’s appointment my ob sent me to the hospital to get monitored and do a bit more testing because i have very mild preeclampsia, last week the same thing had happened and pretty much my results came back the exact same as last time which means it hasn’t developed. i was given a shot to help develop the baby’s lungs since they said they feel that i won’t make it full term and give it to pregnant mom’s who are before 37 weeks (im currently 35w 5d) anyways as i knew i was just getting monitored and felt very good i knew i would be sent home but my boyfriend’s family (his aunt, cousins, grandma) all were very freaked out and all wanted to come see me immediately when they were told i was going into the hospital, my parents were with me and i also let my sister know but none of my family was asked to come, we didn’t ask anyone to come but his family just all decided it was good to come..i am very blessed to be supported and loved especially with this being my first baby but i also am now left wondering if when the baby comes is everyone going to come??? i don’t know if i want many visitors as soon as i have just had a baby. i also don’t want to be disrespectful and say i don’t want visitors at the hospital, i sort of wanted this to be a more intimate thing as in i only wanted my parents, my boyfriend and his parents to be with me at the hospital so we can all bond together and since in most cases if everything is healthy you can leave within 48 hours, i am unsure in my case with the whole preeclampsia how long i will be there but i’m just really confused on what i should do..do i just say i don’t feel comfortable with them being there immediately after and would feel more comfortable once we are home or do i just suck it up and let everyone come? can someone tell me what they did if they were in a similar situation
