Which is easier to raise?

Just curious on people's opinions. When I found out I was expecting a boy, everyone kept saying "boys are easier" so I just wanted to see what others thought. And why.

People said this to me to when I was pregnant. It’s asinine. In families that don’t make a big taddoo about gender there is absolute zero difference. Infact girls have been studied to develop slightly quicker and tend to develop better listening skills earlier. Saying “boys are easier” is completely anecdotal. Of course girls are going to be “hard to deal with” when you treat them like a girl in our society, it’s no wonder little girls feel the need to take charge and everyone calls them “bossy”when they do; it’s no wonder why young girls are chatty, their intelligent and have a lot to say I can imagine they would get louder and frustrated when people aren’t listening to them and their ideas because they’re a girl; gender has nothing to with someone’s difficulty it’s how you treat and raise someone based on their gender that has much more of a factor to how they behave and even with that aside all children are different and unique some are easier than others. It’s all a matter of personality and their environment that contributes to this. Gender is so irrelevant when it comes to how difficult a person is.

My son is bat shit crazy and has never stopped moving, since I was pregnant. Like he literally came out ready to join the circus. When he would sit in his bassinet sleeping he would move his arms around in a way that looked like he was on a roller coaster and now he’s the most high-strung child at his daycare 😳 (As I am typing this he has handed me about 10 toys, and a trash can). So I am jealous when I see my cousin who has little girls who sit by him, and follow closely when they walk around, while my son runs around doing laps.

I have a 4 year old boy and am pregnant  with our 2nd boy. I heard boys are tough as toddlers and younger kids but easier as teenagers. my son can be a handful  but what kids aren't.

In my experience (two girls) it’s been girls are easier babies, but harder toddlers. My nephew was a nightmare baby, but a very easy toddler.

My sister swears boys are easier (she has 4, no girls.) But I've heard from people who have both that each has their own challenges.

my boys 2.5 and he's been a dream, I don't think we've had any hard times with him he's been so easy in every aspect. I'm currently pregnant with number 2 and everybody keeps telling me this one won't be the same and prepare for a devil😂 which I agree will probably happen xx

Iv always thought boys were easier. I have twin boys now and compared to friends/families girls they're a lot less trivial, dramatic and whiny. Not saying boys can't be those things, I just find it much less. I know this isn't every kid this is just what iv noticed with family and friends kids.
