Pill to IUD

I’ve been taking ortho tri cyclen for a while now and it’s now not working so well. My mood swings are through the roof and I’ve been getting more side-effects. So I made the decision to get Skyla.

I’m a little nervous about it but my OBGYN made me super comfortable about it. She said that my period would stop but I’ve been reading about it and it’s only for a small percentage of women. I may decided on having kids in a couple years too.

Any advice or experiences you’ve had while switching would be great.
