pain day after membrane sweep

Hi ladies,

Yesterday I had a membrane sweep done at 38w5d. I had spotting yesterday and lost a little of my mucus plug. Since this morning I have had no spotting just lots of pain in my vagina. It's kind of hard to explain the pain. Everytime baby moves I also feel pain and pressure. Does this mean it's working? or this is normal. Doctor said I was about 2cm dilated, when she did the check. I am a FTM.
