Wet n wild foundation smells?!

I recently bought the Wet n wild photofocus  liquid foundation in soft beige. It smells AWFUL. I emailed the company but got a generic “thanks for your comments” email. It smells like paint. The kind of paint you use for your walls! 
Has anyone else had this issue with this foundation or did I possibly get a bad bottle?

The smell is strong if you’re not used to it. The foundation itself is amazing for me at least. I don’t notice it anymore🤷‍♀️

yes! it smells like paint or some kind of chemical. it's horrible.

i use that foundation every day and it does have a paint smell definetely. i’ve bought about 4 bottles different shades and they all smell like that. it gets better over time but foundation smell doesn’t really bother me😊

Mine smells like that. A bunch of beauty bloggers I watch commented on the smell and also think it smells like paint. But it's such a good foundation I just overlook it. You didn't get a bad one, that's just how they smell!
