When are you all announcing and how??

I’m only 5 weeks and 4 days and we haven’t told anyone. We had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in October so we’re pretty scared and cautious now. My husbands family lives out of state and will be in town the first week in February so I think that would be the perfect opportunity to announce to them. I’ll be 10 weeks. He’s worried it might be early but does 10-12 weeks make that much of a difference?

My whole family knows, we told them on Christmas. We are planning on announcing to social media at 16ish weeks maybe 13 weeks when I'm out of the first trimester.

Do it whenever you like. I know people that announced super early and we’re fine then had a stillbirth. 
Likewise people that wait or don’t announce to anyone other than family may or may not have a miscarriage or premmie. 
You can’t wait for the ‘what-ifs’

We found out and announced on Christmas Eve. We had my ma open a present that said this

We told my parents on Christmas Day. I was just shy of 5 weeks! We are telling my in-laws one New Year's Eve and I'll be just shy of 6 weeks. I plan to tell my boss at 8 weeks so we can start planning for my leave. We plan to do a public announcement around 13 weeks.

Congrats! I’m 5 weeks 3 days. We have already told our close family and friends, however, they all knew we were going through fertility treatment. We probably would have told them this early otherwise. I’m terrible at keeping secrets! We miscarried at 10 weeks in April, but I’m trying to not stress about the pregnancy. It’s so hard though! Whatever you decide is what’s right for you. It’s totally your decision and what you’re comfortable with! ❤️

My husband is going to be gone for training for his new job and we don’t want anyone to know I’m pregnant until I’m far enough along that we can find out the gender first. So, when he comes home for the weekend visit in March, We are going to have a family bbq with his and my family. I will “pretend” like I’m giving him some gifts. When he unwraps the first, I’ll have him turn around and show the family. It’s going to be a picture in a frame of our two boys holding up signs saying been there done that (our 8 year old will hold up) and big brother in training (our 5 year old will hold up) remind you, this is a framed picture... Then since we will already know the gender, we will get pics done of our boys spraying us with squirt guns with the color of paint (pink/blue). This will also be a framed picture!! He will unwrap that picture next so that everyone sees what gender the baby is. That’s our plan!!! I’m ok vacation with my family right now and it’s so hard to keep the exciting news from them!!!!!!!
