How long after a missed period should you take a pregnancy test? Some places are telling me a day after you missed and yet some are telling me to test a week after you missed it..Which one??

If you conceived during ovulation then a day after you miss it should be accurate... but if you conceived post ovulation then it’s a little bit trickier (also nearly impossible) and it can take longer for a pregnancy test to be correct

I'd say a week is best. 
I'm 8 days late from my period and I took two tests tonight both negative might have just been the kind of test I took trying first response tomorrow. Best of luck.
