Loom for beginners?

I’m trying my hardest to watch videos, but they all go too fast 😭. I don’t know the definitions (purl, cast-on, etc) either. 
Does anyone have any recommendations for videos? I have an infinity loom & a lot of yarn I wanna either make a blanket, or a head/ear wrap with!

I’m want to learn as well. Where did you get that loom from? Maybe we can be beginner buddies and share each other’s catastrophes.... I mean masterpieces!! Hahaha!! 🤪

It might take a little longer but when I was first learning to crochet I watch videos on each of the basic terms and stitches before I tried a pattern. It helped me see the step slowly and repeatedly until I could do it on my own. Then I did some swatches and now its like riding a bike! Like I said, it might be a little bit longer before you complete your first pattern but I found this was a lot less confusing. Maybe you can placate your creative desire with the loom in the meantime! Good luck!

Update: now I know how to make headbands, I totally regret buying this ridiculous thing 😂
I totally need a circle or rectangle loom. This is probably AMAZING for blankets.... not so much small stuff. Clearly 😅

I would try looking up a video on how to knit on a loom. Knitting can be difficult to learn. I would recommend continental knitting. I learned crocheting first so I understand the struggle. Still don’t have a hang of knitting.
