Only child?

Question

Is anyone here an only child? Or do you only have one child?
Can you make me feel better lol I am unable to have a second (after 2 years of trying) and at the point of giving up. I have so much guilt because my son absolutely ADORES other kids and i know he would absolutely strive with another child. 😥 
I come from a family where everyone has 2+ children, it just hasn’t happened for me.

I was an only child till I was 20 then my parents split and I now have a step sister we are the same age and aren't very close and talk very seldom. 
Growing up to be honest I HATED being the only child.. I wanted a sister or brother so bad I would cry. I knew my mom couldn't have anymore kids and I begged my parents to adopt but they wouldn't. My cousin who is my best friend in the whole world and I are 7 months apart and we spent ALOT of time together.. so we were/are basically like sisters. After I got to high school it didn't bother me too bad.. I was very active with sports, a job, and friends and I was glad I didn't have a siblings aggravating me 😂
Don't beat yourself up over it. Your child will be fine. And if you honestly want more children why not look into adoption?

I'm an only child and Iived an amazing childhood. I am so close to both of my parents and I grew up to be just fine:)  I don't ever remember being upset I didn't  have a sibling.  I just became an out going person and I made lots of friends! I  am a mom to a 3 yr old and trying to decide about having another , but not bc  I think having one is an issue. again , I loved it :)

I am not an only child but I have many friends who are. Who knows, maybe your child will grow up loving being the only one so he can get all of the attention :) Don’t worry about him.

im not an only child but some of my closest friends were only children and they are great people with great jobs and have the nicest families. So dont worry about a thing!
