If i lost my azithromycin pills can i ask my doctor for more ?

If i call my doctor & ask for another prescription of antibiotics can they prescribe them to me or will i have to wait ? I’m planning on calling after the holidays

If it's a z pack, ask the md to write for the loose pills. Md also needs to rewrite the script with a different strength to get insurance to pay again. ( Double the 250 mg or half the 500 mg to get same dosage) I'm a pharmacist BTW....

They will be able to call in another set just tell them you lost them. I don't know if you ran the first pack through your insurance and how long it's been but they may not pay for the 2nd pack if they think you still have the first pack but they ain't expensive if you do have to pay out of pocket.
