Condom Pain?

I've had 5 sexual partners and my current partner and I started off not using condoms because it was spontaneous in the beginning. However, we have talked and decided that either of us are ready for the risk involved with unprotected sex. Yet, having sex with condoms is painful for me and unfulfilling to him. This is the first time I've experienced this problem ever. They are the same kind of condoms and even the ultra thins cause me irritation. Any suggestions on what to do? And normallly when we start I'm turned on and wet, but the more he pumps the more pain, less juices.
