I got my first pp period around seven weeks. I’ll be nine weeks pp tomorrow and still no let up on the bleeding! How long did your first period after a vaginal birth last? I have been on birth control since 6 weeks pp so I’m figuring that affecting things too. I stopped bleeding about four weeks after birth and was pretty sad that I started my period so soon after birth, I thought if you breastfeed you weren’t supposed to get your period?!?😩 just kidding, I do know it can happen, I just really hoped I could go without for a little longer!

But on a fun note, my coworker, who has no kids but believes she knows all about them, told me if I breastfed I wouldn’t get a period and didn’t need to be on birth control since you don’t ovulate while breastfeeding too. Lies! I know that can be true, but is definitely not true for all women. Especially since I’m on my period now! I’m soooo glad that I’m on birth control again, not that my husband and I ever have sex since we have a very clingy two month old who doesn’t let us out of her sight lol 😂 but I would freak out just a little if I became pregnant again so fast. I literally just shake my head at most everything she tells me. Gotta love those know-it-all not mommys!
