Bf spending new years with another girl

backstory: a girl he has taken interstate, sees concerts with her and does alot for,( driving 2 hours for her birthday, paying for plane ticket ) and you wanted to spend new years together. Been together almost 2 years. Would you just give up? because they would rather be with someone else when that clock strikes midnight. We have been fighting alot and its sometimes about her.
