HELP! Severe abdominal pain following sex

I'm getting ready to start my period today been spotting and lightly cramping. My husband and I had sex tonight with a lot of deep penetration which I don't usually enjoy but I was craving it tonight. immediately after it felt like what I can only imagine was my cervix was hurting. sore crampy type pain about an inch below my belly button and half an inch to the left. I went to sleep. it has now become so painful that it's woken me out of a deep sleep and I can't get back to sleep. it's come with some gas as well so I don't know if I could have angered my intestines? I Just know it hurts really bad and this has never happened before.
