Which cardio machine do you prefer?

Looking to buy a machine for home but conflicted on which kind..Looking to see what everyone prefers for weight loss. Thanks

I prefer the elliptical, because it seems to strain less on bones and joints than the treadmill ( I broke my legs as a child and the treadmill always makes those spots sore), and the bike always hurts my bottom after a while.

I personally prefer the elliptical because it puts little stress on joints, though bikes and treadmills are best for weight loss, proven time and time again. What’s really great is actually a rowing machine, which works every part of your body, but if the other three are your options, I’d suggest springing for a bike. Good luck! 😊

The rowing machine is amazing. There’s one at the CrossFit gym I go to & it’s always a great tool. I end up really sweaty and sore from my legs and also my upper body.

It depends on the kind of cardio I’m doing. If I’m doing a simple warm up... elliptical.
If I’m doing a cardio hiit workout then treadmill... I can control the speed I am going and find I get a better workout.

I'm a big fan of the Precor Open Stride machine, it's like a cross between a treadmill and an elliptical. It gives a better workout than an elliptical, but still reduced stress on the joints. Unfortunately they're pretty expensive for a home gym.

Elliptical because personally I would prefer to ride a bike or run in nature and then have that extra option when the weather soils that plan
