morning sickness seems to be here to stay
In my first trimester I was getting sick constantly. My OB finally prescribed me some medicine to help. After I started taking it, I would only get sick once every few days. I finally managed to get off of it around 17 or 18 weeks but it wasn't a smooth transition. My nausea was still easily triggered but a little more manageable. I got sick about once everyday for the first week. I'm now 20 weeks pregnant and thought I had finally escaped morning sickness. Until yesterday. And today. Yesterday morning I felt my baby kick for the first time. I have a theory for this new morning sickness because this time I'm getting sick only in the mornings, on an empty stomach with nothing triggering it. It's just sudden. My theory is that it's my baby waking up. I'm hoping my body gets used to this new movement by the baby because I'm tired of getting sick. I just want my nausea to be gone. This is my first pregnancy and it has been a pretty miserable one. Is there anyone who struggles the same way or has any advice on how to deal with it?
