Won't let go

I nurse my 7 month old to sleep for bedtime and nap times. She used to fall asleep and then I could unlatch her. But lately she won't let me, as she wakes up looking for my breast as soon as I unlatch her.

Any ideas what this is about? How to go back to the way it was? My back is killing me from being in the feeding position long past she is done feeding, just so that she'll sleep.
