Exclusive? Fwb?

The boy I love who says he loves me back doesn’t want to be in a relationship right now. Yet he’s mad because he doesn’t want me having sex with anyone else but him. But he says we should be exclusive and have a fwb until he’s ready to be with me.. I told him “no thank you I’m not going to do that to myself” and he said okay, we’re just friends then. He wants to see me tomorrow but idk if I should see him or not.. I know that might lead to something. And I don’t want to end up contradicting what i told him. I fucking love that boy. I don’t blame him for not wanting to be in a relationship right now but if he claims to love me what’s holding him back? Am I thinking too much of it? I’m sick of the little kid games. Should I just move on and forget him even though it’s difficult?
