gestational diabetes

Hello ladies. So I failed my 1 hour glucose test and have to go back in for a 3-hour test. I'm a bit worried that I might have gestational diabetes. has any of you been diagnosed with it? if so, what was your treatment plan like? what was your overall experience having it? was your baby born healthy and did it result in a C-section? Any word of advice going forward? I'm a first-time mom and just want to do the best I can for my baby. I will obviously be following my doctor's orders exactly, but hearing from women who have experienced it before might help me feel less anxious. 😓
