I’m training mine around 18 months. I’m having twins and I’m not trying to be changing diapers until they’re like 4

does anybody have any advice ? my 2.5 year old son just will not tell me when he needs a wee or poo and just does it in his pants, he's so forward in every other aspect eg count to 20, knows all shapes/colours  and some letters I just can't crack the potty training it's driving me insane xx

Developmentally, a child gains full control of their bowels around age 2. So if they are able to potty train earlier, great. But don't have that as your expectation. All kids develop at slightly different rates. They may not be ready at age 2.

My son is currently 20m and we haven’t begun trying yet. We do “naked potty time” before the bath where I ask him to sit on his potty and go pee, sometimes he does but most days he tries to wear his potty as a hat 😬 He’s a very high-strung child so right now we are just working on getting him to accept him as a place he sits for more than a second.
