What type of underwear do you use after giving birth? I’ve been wearing thongs my whole pregnancy but I was wondering what type pf underwear I need to buy once I give birth 🤔

I bought some Always Discreet (like Depends) because I heard you could bleed/leak and I wanted to be covered. I also had a ton of FSA money leftover lol.

Full coverage meaning wide crotch area and bottom! Needs to hold a pad nicely. I just buy the type that come in a bag from Walmart. They are cheap and I don’t feel bad for tossing them when I don’t need them anymore.

I bought some “microfiber bikini” from babes. I also wear thongs but after delivery you wear pads for awhile and bleed a lot so I got some bigger underwear with my first and plan to wear them again this time. I had a csection and personally loved the mesh ones they give you in the hospital.

Well I would suggest just normal full coverage undies. Your lady parts are going to be extremely sore for the next couple of days after giving birth. Postpartum bleeding is anywhere from 8-10 days. Some women go even longer than that.
