How long is a bottle good for?

So I goofed and added enough formula to make a 8oz instead of a 4oz bottle. I added more water to make it good. If I only give my LO 4oz how long is that other 4 good for. I’ve poured into a different bottle and her lips haven’t touch it. Can I refrigerate it to make it last longer?

As long as she didn’t drink from it you can refrigerate for 24 hours.
