No. The baby’s gender isn’t in your urine, therefore the test has zero idea of your baby’s gender. 
It’s the acidity level in your urine that makes it fizzy or not.

If it even remotely worked, doctors would use it. It’s simply a chemical reaction of an acid and a base (just like vinegar and baking soda). The more uric acid in your urine, which fluctuates as a result of what you eat, the more of a reaction you will see. All this test will tell you is how acidic your pee is, not the gender of your baby.
