I’ve talked to my pediatrician already before people jump down my throat.....

I just want to get some real mom advice and see if anyone has had anything similar.

My son is about 4 1/2 months old and has recently started these screaming episodes of about a half hour to hour. This cry is unlike his usual cry. It’s like he’s in a super bad amount of pain.

He was born 4 weeks early but weighed 7.6 and had no issues. He did have some reflux and gas during the first two months, but hasn’t had any reflux for about two months and hardly any gas pains until recently. When he has these episodes, he does get stiff legs and moves them a lot so that’s why I’m thinking it’s gas.

We did try similac sensitive a few months back but that actually made him worse. We have tried gas drops and gripe water with no relief in fact sometimes I feel like they make it worse. We try exercises and tummy time with no relief either.

The doctor has not recommended anything and insists it’s just gas and that his formula does not need changed. I’m sure she is right but I just don’t feel like this is normal this late in the game. If it had been this way since day 1 then fine but this is new and I feel so bad! He also gets hiccups for about a hour, usually a hour after he eats.

Is this all normal and I’m just being a paranoid mom or should I be more concerned and push his dr to do something more? I just want him to be a happy healthy baby! Let me know! Sorry for the long ass post!
