Where do I go?

Question

I’m going to sound pretty dumb, but at this point I’m desperate. 
I’ve had a horrible chest cold that my mom gave to me for Christmas. I can’t breathe through my nose and now I’m up hacking all night long for the last 4 nights. I can’t sleep for more than 30 minutes and it’s hard to breathe. I think it may have turned into bronchitis ☹️
Do I call my OB, regular doctor or go up to labor and delivery? The coughing is causing pain in my stomach on my right side and I’m so tired!

My OB only has wanted me to go see her all the times I️ have been sick. I️ have a toddler and we have been hit with everything! I️ would call and leave a message for the nurse. I️ know some urgent cares won’t touch you since ur pregnant and my GP won’t see me either. Most likely will give you a z-Pak and tell you to take Robitussin DEM or something on the list that is safe. I️ have had bronchitis and pneumonia in the last 2 months. And the stomach flu. It’s been awful!! I️ have never been this sick in my life

I have an appointment this coming afternoon. I’m hoping we can do something because I’m miserable. I haven’t slept more than an hour at a time in over a week now. I swear I would feel better if I could just get a solid 5-6 hours of sleep!!

My OB told me  to go to a minor care clinic or a primary doctor because they could not risk other patients getting sick and they do not test for strep or flu was their excuse . I went to a primary care doctor and all they did was prescribe antibiotic pills, inhaler, zrytec , flonase nasal spray. Really is not much they can prescribe to you being pregnant. I have been sick now for 4 weeks and currently on second round of antibiotics.

I had a similar situation... mine started with a nose issue, grew into a sinus infection that was causing lost nasal drip and horrendous coughing that wouldn’t go away. I eventually got a prescription from urgent care, but what actually helped the most was musinex! At my OB appointment I was sharing my experience and he said oh you must be miserable you need to take some musinex to dry that out and get some good rest. He was right — it helped a lot! I just wished that had been on my approved over the counter medication list sooner.... oh well, better late than never! 
If you are really concerned about bronchitis, yo probably need to go to urgent care or your primary. I’m recovering from the flu and my OBs office said anything not pregnancy related needs to go through those channels. Of course, make sure you tell them you are pregnant and if you have any questions about the safety of a prescription, check with your OB before taking it. Best of luck and hope you feel better soon.

Call your doctor and explain your situation, they will either give you an appointment straight away or tell you to call someone otherwise. That’s what I did and they was externally helpful.
