So ladies, at my job there is no designated place for a woman to pump. The girl that currently pumps goes in the gym to pump. I personally don't think/feel that is sanitized enough place to be pumping. At one point early on she was pumping in an empty office but they moved someone in that office so she is now forced to pump in the gym. When our department manager (who is no longer there) was pumping she had the company put up blinds on her office door and side window so she could pump in her office. I'm just concerned that when my time comes (if I return there) then I will be forced to pump in that nasty ass gym also. 😡 So I'm asking you ladies if you have experienced having to advocate a clean sanitized place to pump at the work place or know someone who has and can give me any advice on what steps I should take to advocate for this cause.
