How do you get your carrier on before going in the store?

When the weather is really cold I don’t see how you can manage getting on a baby carrier with the baby in it before going in the store. How do y’all do it? Do you sit in the back seat to get baby out of the car seat and into the carrier? Then put your coat on over the carrier? It seems impossible. Standing outside of the car to do it would freeze you both out. My LO is a month old and I’m sick of not going anywhere

Yep! I get into the back seat and put it and him on. Then I put the coat and blanket over him and get out of the car! Keeps us both warm 😊

I just wear it in the car. I put it on in the house. But usually I don't take my LO out in the cold. if I must go out I keep her warm in the carseat.

I put my wrap on at the house and the stick my LO in the wrap in the parking lot he is out in the cold for about 1 min before I have him completely wrapped and covered ... if u didn’t have a wrap I would just stick the whole car seat with a blanket over it in a buggy in the parking lot and push him in that way to keep the wind off him

just carry your baby into the store and then put him in the carrier.

if i used my wrap, i'd just wear it under my coat. if i used the structured carrier, i got in the back seat, put the carrier on, then my coat (without zipping up) the put baby in the carrier & covered with a blanket before exiting the car.

I just kept baby in the car seat when the temps were cold. The seat fits in the cart.

I put my carrier around my waist before I leave the house then when I’m in the parking lot I do just quickly put baby in the carrier then put my jacket or sweater back on. When it’s really snowing out or -30 I just keep baby in the car seat and carry them into the store and then put them in the carrier in the store.
