Anyone started a new job and got pregnant?

I found out I was pregnant on Nov 24th... and started my new job on Nov 27. Since my job requires a lot of travel to places that pregnant women can't go, they weren't overjoyed but life happens. I will say that unless there is a policy in place that they can fire you "at will", I would tell them sooner rather than later. It was tough but they appreciated it. Also, if you get fired for being pregnant I guarantee a dozen lawyers will be chasing you to get in on that lawsuit!!! CONGRATS MOMMA!!! Timing is never perfect so enjoy it!

We actually moved to a different state when I was 7 weeks pregnant and I had to find a new job in the new state. I’m currently 13 weeks and am looking for a job. I’m hoping I can find something before I start showing. I know there are laws against employers and pregnant women but most companies have an “at will” period in which they are able to fire you for any reason within 60-90 days of hire. I’m a little nervous but keeping my fingers crossed.
