we will be going back to court when we can afford a lawyer. but i wanted to get an idea of what might change etc. so everyone who receives child support or pays child support. 1-how much a month do you pay or recieve? 2- how often do you have the child or is the child with the other parent? 3- who pays health insurance, dental, and vision? im curious to see where this could end up when we do go back to court. she hasnt ever had a job. we pay her 600 a month plus pay all of his medical, dental, and vision( shes supppsed to pay half but never has). we started out our case with only visitation ( he was 2 months old)and haven't gone to court since. hes now 2.5 years old. and for the past year she has started wanting us to take him more. almost 2 weeks a month. but last month we had him the 6th- 16th and got him again the 28th until today. we were supposed to have him until sunday because she had plans with friends over new years and just said we could keep him until then and them changed it last minute. its a 6 hour round trip for us to pick him up. and costs us 120 dollars every trip. we have been doing this drive since she moved out of state back in april. i just feel like child support should be reduced quite a bit since we pay for everything and have him half the month sometimes more depending on her plans. so if anyone could share their experiences and theyre situation so i know what to expect that would be awesome. also my husband is the only one who works and makes about 2500 a month before child support and insurance
