When did you bring baby out?

When did you or do you plan on bringing baby out and about? My baby is due in the summer and we’re a very active family, obviously it will depend on how I’m feeling but looking forward to enjoy our summer activities together. Just wondering when you moms and soon to be moms plan on bringing baby out.

my baby was born via c section on December 5th.. we went out on the 7th lol. it was the day I was coming home from the hospital and I had to get my prescription filled, so I had no choice.

When we left the hospital. Stopped at the store and got energy drinks and then went home, unpacked, went for a walk, then shopping. My baby was fine.. I can't sit at home for even a day and was dying to get out from being in the hospital for 2 days lol

The day we brought her home from the hospital, we went out to lunch with friends. I don’t believe in keeping everyone cooped up in the house. To me, that’s a one way ticket to postpartum depression and I didn’t want that. I absolutely recommend getting out. And the sooner you do, the sooner your child will get used to it as well. We can literally taje our daughter anywhere with zero issues.

My plan was to wait a month... My baby was in the NICU for almost a week when she was born so I wanted to wait. My mom planned my baby shower about 1 1/2 months after baby was born which was nice. I was nervous for her to be around so many people. She was a summer baby and it was hotter in my place than outside ha ha. Long story short I waited 2 weeks and we went out to places and during times with minimal crowds.

I brought my daughter out pretty much right away I just kept her covered when she was very young especially before her first round of vaccines.

I plan to after the first set of shots, but not often because I’m due Feb 23rd and it’ll be still very cold out. So to the mall, out to eat, or to see friends or fam will be it
