How early can you get an ultrasound?

I’m 32 days. When can I technically make a doctor appointment? Must we wait 8 long weeks? 🤣🤩😅

I had two done as early as 5 weeks. But it was a super tiny little fetal pole and too small to see a heart beat. by 6-7 weeks we were able to see more. It's hard to wait but it's for a good reason. Since there's a variance on when you ovulated, going too early can be pointless. You might not see anything at all and if you don't you can cause unnecessary worry when it's just too soon to tell. Also, early ultrasounds usually only come with past complications like past reoccuring miscarriages. So take it as a good thing! Good luck and sticky bean to you!

I’m 6+3 and had to go to the ER because of spotting and cramping yesterday and they did one on me and could see everything. But I’ve also heard stories of people not seeing anything until 8 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️

Your doctor will decide when you get an ultrasound. I had my first one at 6 weeks 2 days and saw baby and heard the heartbeat.
