Hello!
I’ve only recently found this community despite the fact i’ve been on Eve for a good while now- but i’m glad i found it!
My name is Zoë and i have “severe” trichotillamania. I can’t remember a time before i pulled out my eyelashes, my eyebrows were gone in 4th grade and by 6th grade i was completely bald. )That was obviously a long time ago 😅)
It’s been a long trip for me, a trip that i’ll be on for the rest of my life, but i’ve learned a hell of a lot. I’ve tried everything i could possibly try, but to no avail. It was rough in the beginning, but i can honestly say that even though trichotillamania effects me in such a large way every day of my life, i barely even think about it anymore.
I already give advice and tools to people dealing with hair pulling in real life (i do public speeches and workshops) and i don’t see why it’s any different here. I am here to help in any way.
(here’s a few photos of me without makeup or a wig- although i don’t really wear wigs anymore anyway😉
)
