Daycare Concerns

M • 💙 Our blessing arrived 08/18/2017 💙 Baby boy #2 arrived 11/14/2019!

Yesterday when I picked my four and a half month old son up from daycare, the caretaker informed me that he had had an incident earlier in the day. She told me that he had started choking so badly that his lips had turned blue before he finally coughed up a giant glob of green mucus. This really shook me up to hear as a first-time mom. I asked her how long ago it had happened and she said a few hours. I know my son ended up being okay, but am I being too paranoid by wishing they would have called me after this happened and informed me? If his lips turned blue, he wasn't getting oxygen, and that's scary. We also had an incident a couple of weeks ago where they found horrible hives on his legs during the day and I was not informed until I picked him. I really like the daycare otherwise, sometimes I just wish they'd communicate with me more throughout the day. I realize it is totally possible I am overthinking this. Thanks for your input!
